Leivsson, 23, hailing from Bergen, Norway, will be racing the venerable gravity weapon, the Canfield Brothers Jedi equipped with DVO Suspension, in the 2017 World Cup series, Pro GRT and Norwegian National Champs. Known for a raw, wild and loose style and a penchant for nac-nacs and Scandanavian metal, Leivsson is also exceptionally smooth on course when he leaves the gate, putting down blistering times while looking calm and composed.

“Isak is an incredibly talented rider and all-around good guy we’ve known for a long time,” said Chis Canfield, Canfield Brothers co-founder and designer. “We are proud to welcome him to the family, and absolutely can’t wait to see what he can do with the Jedi’s Formula 1 suspension underneath him.”

“I’m stoked to represent such a rider-driven brand like Canfield Brothers. They have the best bikes and attitude,” said Leivsson. “Chris and Lance ride and they know what works and what doesn’t and build damn fast bikes rather than conforming to industry trends. The suspension design is on another level and performs exceptionally well on rough tracks. This allows me to run my suspension setup for superior traction in all conditions without any compromises.”

  1. Congratulations Isak, really happy that you have joined such a solid team. I have seem you ride at Bailey a couple times and you are crazy fast, hopefully the new bike will be even faster. All the best for the 2017 race season bud, I am sure it’s going to be a good one. Cheers
